Private appointments are booked through the practice at each location. A current referral from a GP or specialist is needed for a Medicare rebate on a specialist consultation.

Booking an appointment
Appointment requests have their own page, with a short form answered by the Complete Health Australia team on behalf of all four locations during business hours, and the numbers to call if you would rather phone.

Public patients
Concord Repatriation General Hospital
Inflammatory bowel disease clinic
A/Prof Kariyawasam sees public patients in the inflammatory bowel disease clinic at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, where he holds a visiting honorary medical officer appointment with the Department of Gastroenterology.
This clinic is for people with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis or with suspected inflammatory bowel disease. Other gastroenterology problems are seen in the general clinics at the hospital or privately at one of the rooms above.
Referrals can be addressed to A/Prof Viraj Kariyawasam, Concord Hospital IBD clinic. They go to the hospital department rather than to the private rooms. There is no fee for a public clinic appointment, and appointments are made by the hospital.
